Venue: Zagreb (Croatia)
The consortium performing SHINE is meeting in Zagreb (Croatia) from 18 to 20 April 2018 for its sixth technical meeting. At this stage, partners are swiftly moving towards the finalisation of project outcomes. After collecting local best practices, peer reviewing them, they developed guidelines for experimenting innovative governance models in HVET and put in practice a set of Local Action Plans in respective territories, aimed at improving the functioning and governance of EQF 4, 5 and 6 training programmes. More, they compared output of Local Action plans and drafted a survey on the knowledge and application of relevant EU tools (like the EQF, ECVET, ECTS, EQAVET, ESCO) to Higher Vocational education and Training.
The meeting will offer partners the chance to compare lessons learnt, and discuss next activities, targeted to get feedback from relevant stakeholders and draw spillovers and recommendations for all quadruple-helix players involved in HVET.
The meeting is hosted by Obrtničko Učilište Zagreb, the Croatian Craft College, outstanding institution for adult education, linking vocational education with economy and regional development.
Partners are also meeting relevant national stakeholders in a multiplier event: “Towards tomorrow's HVET: best EU practices and new governance models”.
Last but not least, partners will plan in detail subsequent steps till the final meeting, to be held in Venice/Mestre – Italy, in July 2018.
